Why we built VIZ FORECAST
Let's be honest: nothing beats a great day underwater—but only if the conditions are right. We got tired of the guesswork, so we built this tool to help our community determine if a site is "diveable" before packing the gear. Our data is powered by a proprietary wave transformation model, patiently tuned over years of real-world use by thousands of local divers, geekie details here.
This project is entirely non-profit and run by volunteers who love diving as much as you do.
A quick reminder: Always use your own judgment before entering the water. If the actual conditions differ from the forecast, please let us know via the form at the bottom of the page—that feedback is exactly how we continue to improve for everyone.
